We celebrate the Assumption because it is Mary’s heavenly birthday. Her soul and her body went up to heaven and some people said she was sleeping and a miracle happened.
Her whole body went up to heaven and then when she was there in heaven she became the Queen of heaven.
Pope Pius declared to the Catholics that we should know that Mary’s body and soul went to heaven.
